"All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right." (2 Timothy 3:16)

God is creator, sustainer and ruler of the universe. He is holy, just, all-powerful, all-knowing and present everywhere. He is the force behind all nature and the reason we are here on this earth. All things are therefore accountable to Him.

Christ is God's Divine Son, both human and Divine, our Saviour and Lord. "God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us" (Romans 5:8) He came to show us God and redeem us from our sins.

"For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard." (Romans 3:23) We need to be redeemed from our sins and to be reconciled to God. That occurs when we respond to the Gospel by faith, repentance and baptism (immersion) in water. "Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned." (Mark 16:16)

Jesus will return someday to bring this world to an end. All evil will be judged and all of His people will be raised from the dead to be with Him forever. (See I Thessalonians. 4:13-18)

We are all called to be part of the church and to work and witness for Him. The church helps to strengthen us by prayer, teaching the Scriptures, and the Lord's Supper which we observe each Sunday as did the church in the New Testament.

"This is the book of the genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. 2 He created them male and female, and blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created." (Genesis 5:1-2)
