Woe to Whom?

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:50, NKJV)

It is tempting to see ourselves on the correct side of societal issues. It is tempting to sit back, gain a high vantage point and wait for “The Brimstone Show” to begin.

“So Jonah went out of the city and sat on the east side of the city. There he made himself a shelter and sat under it in the shade, till he might see what would become of the city.” (Jonah 4:5, NKJV)

We must not yield because Jesus didn’t. He never stopped reaching out with word, deed and prayer to those who were going astray, regardless of the reason. He never stopped caring, loving or sacrificing for those He was sent to save. He didn’t accept sin but He did love people…let’s be found doing what He did.
