Devotional - In, By, and Through Christ

“And this is the will of the Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:40, NKJV)

Smart people make complex subjects easy to understand. God, with endless wisdom, makes this exceedingly true. People like to make topics of extreme importance more difficult so we can have plausible deniability; everyone wants something to hide behind.

God lifts the fog of overthink by plainly stating that in order for the worst among us, that’s all of us without the garment of Christ crucified, to achieve salvation that we are to call upon the name of and believe in Jesus as Messiah.

Our lives will change dramatically since the Holy Spirit will be upon us, within us and supply the strength to repent; turning from our transgressions; becoming new creations in Christ, by Christ and through Christ.

God is pretty sharp. He made this simple, not easy. Trust in Him more every day.
